BREAKDOWN at Marabouparken, Stockholm

19 May 2017
[opposite]<br/>BREAKDOWN (Britney), 2007

How strong are you? How resilient? How vulnerable?

BREAKDOWN is a specially scripted spin class, combining philosophy and artistic performance with fitness choreography. The leader will guide you through a varied “landscape” while questioning and exploring our expectations of bodily productivity in a capitalist society. This challenging class will feature racing, climbing and attacking intervals, set to a specially selected soundtrack.

All bikes are equipped with so-called SPD pedals for those who have such shoes. It is also possible to cycle with regular exercise shoes. Recommended length limit is 150 cm due to the height and dimensions of the bicycle. Please bring a towel and water bottle and be prepared to sweat!

Places are free but limited. To book a place please email osa@marabouparken.se by Wednesday 17 May, 5pm.

This event is a collaboration between Marabouparken Konsthall and Friskis & Svettis i Sundbyberg and will take place in the fitness centre, which like Marabouparken Konsthall used to be a part of the chocolate factory. Performed by Shirley Harthey Ubilla.
